Boscol | Making a display might be within your abilities and here is a nice board. Framed and with a penetrable backing that allows pins to be used and also moved about, gives versatility for growth and reduction as tastes change.
Pick your color of back ground to be photogenic, as you probably will no doubt be sending pictures back and forth internationally at some time! Pictures are the next best thing to having the actual whistles.
You could put feet on it too! Then it could be free standing and movable for closer study. Nice smaller display, but ample enough to fit a lot of variation in your whistle collection and yet allow for duplicate board to match or several!
As you can see you can make them as small or large as your wall spaces will allow.
