this thought of sharing seems counterproductive. On the one hand, one has to really accumulate whistles to research them. Can't share them after that cause you need them to study further.
Then if you share them you are stuck without your references !!!
So what to share and how ??
Pictures are great to share.
Not only that, but writing observations that can be posted.
U tube videos are great.
Blogs are informative too.
Also comments on current websites.
Facebook, start a website…..
All these methods are growing —— and sharing of whistle info is snowballing.
*******************Should flush out a lot more on whistles in the future huh ?? *************************************
even commenting on sites like this one….well, probably not after all—SPAM is killing off this avenue.
Sorry to say, but most of what comes in is people selling something and parasitically commenting in some generic way and then using the site to promote a product or service.
We need a 'work around' ………

I think Facebook is a great way to share your collection of whistles with a small description. Then other collectors or any of the general public that may know something about that whistle can add posts thus sharing of whistle info and improvement in knowlegde.
